Vultures Supporting Brian O’Conner
Them Crooked Vultures have just added a July 5th show to their current tour in support of friend and fellow musician Brian O’Conner. Brian, bassist of Eagles of Death Metal, has just been diagnosed with cancer and is about to undergo this first chemotherapy treatment.
The London show at Brixton Academy was added to help raise funds for his medical expenses. O’Conner currently does not have health insurance. Other bands that are holding benefits for Brian include Queens of the Stone Age, Rage Against The Machine and of course, Eagles of Death Metal.
Currently, Dave Grohl, Joshua Homme and John Paul Jones are touring Europe through July. The band is currently working on a second album and is tentatively scheduled for release in late 2010.
